Pope Francis just allowed radical abortion activist Nancy Pelosi to take Communion in the Vatican even though her archbishop has barred her from the sacrament!

Just over a month ago, the Archbishop of San Francisco publicly declared that Nancy Pelosi would be denied Communion in her local diocese due to her ghoulish support for abortion.

This week, in what looks like a spiteful act of defiance, Nancy Pelosi traveled to the Vatican and attended a Papal mass in St. Peter's Basilica. Multiple reports are now coming out that Pelosi took the Eucharist.

The abortion advocate met with Pope Francis on Wednesday and was even seated in the VIP section of the mass. So there's little doubt that the priests serving communion likely knew who Pelosi was.

U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi met with Pope Francis on Wednesday and received Communion during a papal Mass in St. Peter's Basilica, witnesses said, despite her position in support of abortion rights.

Pelosi attended the morning Mass marking the feasts of St. Peter and St. Paul, during which Francis bestowed the woolen pallium stole on newly consecrated archbishops. She was seated in a VIP diplomatic section and received Communion along with the rest of the congregants, according to two people who witnessed the moment...

Pelosi met with Francis on Wednesday before the Mass and received a blessing, according to one of the Mass attendees.

Yeah, Catholics are not happy.

Look, I'm just a salty reformer who's been criticizing the papacy for a few hundred years, but Nancy Pelosi is completely out of step with the Catholic Church and the Bible's teaching on abortion.

Yet the Pope still gives her a reception, and special treatment at mass, and allows her to participate in Communion in contradiction to her local archbishop.

Is Francis totally fine with Catholics who support explicitly anti-Catholic policies still partaking in the most sacred part of the faith?

Pelosi's partaking of the sacrament inside the Vatican during a papal Mass was even more significant, and a sign of Francis' unwillingness to refuse the sacrament. Francis has described the Eucharist as "not a prize for the perfect but a powerful medicine and nourishment for the weak."

Asked about some U.S. bishops who wanted to refuse Biden the sacrament, Francis told reporters during an airborne press conference in September that priests shouldn't be politicians and condemn their flock but should be pastors who accompany the faithful with tenderness and compassion.

Why in the world would Francis cede this ground to the Left unless he has sympathy for their position?
