Neil deGrasse Tyson got an earful when he asked why athletes don’t "blame God when they lose"

One of the most annoying things about the oh-so-educated academic atheist crowd is how totally out-of-touch they are with actual religious people.

Instead, they prefer to go to cosmic battle with caricatures of religious people who would just come to their senses if they read a book, or something.

Enter everyone's favorite smart person, Neil deGrasse Tyson.

Of course, for fans of the science, this is a gloriously ridiculous logical fallacy that argues that God must be blamed for a loss if He is thanked for a win ... missing the point that athletes praise God either way because guess what? God isn't a Kansas City Chiefs fan!

And the replies were equally glorious.

Might want to rethink the pithy tweets, Neil!
