This clip from the New York mom who runs Libs of TikTok showcases Dead End Paranormal Park, a show about "a gay transgender teen boy who finds a new job as a security guard" at a haunted amusement park.
While this clip went viral, racking up over 10 million views in 18 hours, the show is not new.
Dead End Paranormal Park debuted in June 16, 2022 and had a second season that started on October 13, 2022. As of 2023, the show has been canceled.
I'm not sure if Libs of TikTok ran the old clip as engagement bait, or if the news cycle was slow and she just discovered the show for the first time, but the virality of her post suggests that people were not aware the series existed.
And yet, it's still available on Netflix, labeled with a "TV-Y7" rating for young kids.
In the comments, people also reminded everyone that Disney has done the same thing.
