During an Inside Edition segment about rampant shoplifting in San Francisco, a man is caught on camera shoplifting.

Seriously.

The crew from Inside Edition caught the man jumping over a counter at a downtown Walgreens and taking off with some merchandise, right in the middle of filming. This particular location will be one of a half dozen Walgreens to close this year due to excessive shoplifting. It will close for good on November 11th, along with 3 others in the downtown San Francisco area.

Business in the area told the news channel that they've seen groups of people walk out with garbage bags full of merchandise and fully understand why the decision was made to close down stores.

In a completely not-shocking stat, burglary is up 53% in San Francisco since March compared to the same period last year. Who the Peter Heck is running that place?
