I don't think The Babylon Bee could come up with a more ridiculous scenario than this one out of New Orleans.

One of the soft-on-crime Soros-backed District Attorneys, New Orleans' Jason Williams, was carjacked while with his mother yesterday.

Today, the police tracked down the carjacker and discovered that the suspect, 18-year-old Raymond Rochon, had three other outstanding warrants for carjackings THIS YEAR.

Yep, this is at least his FOURTH carjacking in 2023 and he's been out and about for months with these warrants. The police never went looking for him until he jacked the DA.

Court documents indicate, as officers were reading Rochon his rights, he interrupted and said, "I know why y'all are here… y'all's people had been got," a reference to DA Williams.

The punk knew EXACTLY why the cops showed up.

He had been doing this same thing for months and was getting off scot-free, thanks to the DA, but when he had the misfortune to carjack the DA himself, the cops were there in less than 24 hours to bring him in.

Questions remain, however, about why law enforcement did not attempt to locate and arrest Rochon on the prior warrants, one of which was issued in May after police say his fingerprints were found in a Hyundai Elantra that was stolen from Gentilly in April and later recovered.

Umm... I think it's pretty obvious what happened.

Williams, the DA, was elected on a promise of bringing social justice and bail reform to the criminal justice system and this is his system working exactly as designed.

When Williams was elected in 2020, he ran on a platform of social justice reform with intentions of finding "alternatives to incarceration" for some criminals, while also changing what he considered an "ineffective and unfair money bail system."

One of his campaign backers, billionaire Democratic donor George Soros, reportedly donated $220,000 to the Louisiana Justice and Public Safety PAC that year, which helped fund ad campaigns against Williams' opponent, according to the Capital Research Center.

Justice for the important people, like Williams and his mother. No justice for you and me! Communism, comrades!

The same suspects in this case were also accused of carjacking and robbing another woman just thirty minutes after robbing the DA.

Rochon is going to finally appear in court on Monday. Never upset our banana-republic elites!
