Survey says New Jersey is the best state to live in, proving definitively that you should never trust surveys

NEW JERSEY???

Seriously?? It barely makes the top 50!

I'm not trying to insult any of you that live in the state, but c'mon! Out of all 50 states, New Jersey is the crème de la crème of American living and opportunity???

Jersey ranked in the top 10 for safety, quality of life and education & health, offsetting a middling rank for its economy and a next-to-last finish for affordability.

The survey, conducted by WalletHub, placed Massachusetts in second and New York in third.

I mean, I guess those are great places if you enjoy living in a socialist state where you pay an exorbitant amount to live, have no freedoms, are being taxed out of your mind, and get to deal with cold weather for half the year!

In fact, New Jersey is such a great state that it ranked 48th on U-Haul's list for states people moved to in 2020 and it was numero uno on United Van Lines' list for states people fled.

New Jersey also has the worst tax climate and has been consistently ranked one of the worst states to own a business.

Again, I'm not dunking on those of you who love the Shore.

I'm just saying you shouldn't trust surveys at face value, that's all.
