You are erasing our trans babies!
Ron DeSantis's and Florida Republican legislation outlawing the medical transition of minors who are too young to consent to life-altering medical procedures is evil because it "erases trans babies" now.
Slippery, meet slope:
Ron DeSantis has got to go because we want to argue for the existence of transgender BABIES!
In context, you might argue, the speaker was talking about all kids. In this case, it's still evil, wrong, and incredibly dangerous.
But we've seen major hospitals put out statements like children can be transgender from the womb. And Harvard even talks about trans infants.
So this isn't as huge a leap as it might seem.
