This NYC councilwoman was caught on video BITING an officer and of course she's accusing the police of "Asian hate"

New York City has some of the best food in the world … and according to certain Democrats, the tastiest police officers too.

Susan Zhuang, a supposed cop-loving Brooklyn councilwoman, is facing charges including second-degree and third-degree assault after she bit a cop, Deputy Chief Frank DiGiacomo, during a protest over a new homeless shelter.

To be fair, who doesn't love Italian street food?

[Warning: Violence]

Zhuang, a Democrat, standing in front of a packed room of her southern Brooklyn constituents, then accused the NYPD of "brutality" and "Asian hate."

"Police brutality is wrong, the misuse of enforcement is wrong, the act of violence against innocent citizens is wrong," she said, pausing only to floss to remove chunks of human flesh from her teeth.

She added that this kind of mistreatment isn't just about her but about the whole Asian community who are supposedly getting a raw deal from the NYPD — which, by the way, she still says she likes.

Medium-rare, I assume.

Zhuang represents a newly formed, majority-Asian district, and was protesting a men's shelter being built in her area. She says an elderly woman was stuck under a barricade and when the cops didn't help, the community stepped in. This led to Zhuang allegedly sinking her teeth into Deputy Chief DiGiacomo's arm.

(Who hasn't accidentally chewed on a cop before?!)

Zhuang says she was just trying to help, with the elderly woman in question, 78-year-old Yu Xin Chen, backing up Zhuang's story, calling her a hero.

"If Susan hadn't separated me from the barrier, I would have gotten killed. The council lady is a hero. She saved my life," Chen said.

Mayor Eric Adams called Zhuang's arrest "complicated," noting her rookie status in city politics.

"I was a little surprised that this happened with the councilwoman, she's extremely supportive of police. I'm going to reach out to her. She's newly elected," Adams said.

Next time you're in New York City, think twice if Zhuang invites you out for dinner.
