Ohio governor says Springfield bomb threats are hoaxes from overseas trolls ... so will Dana Bash apologize to JD Vance?

On Monday, Republican Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced that a wave of at least 33 bomb threats against the town of Springfield, Ohio, have all been hoaxes, and that some originated from one specific foreign country.

(My guess is Germany, those jokers!)

"Thirty-three threats; Thirty-three hoaxes," DeWine said of threats against government buildings, schools and medical facilities during a press conference. "I want to make that very, very clear. None of these had any validity at all."

"We have people unfortunately overseas who are taking these actions," he added.

"We think that this is one more opportunity to mess with the United States," DeWine noted. "And they're continuing to do that."

"We cannot let the bad guys win. Our schools must remain open," he continued, adding that further law enforcement personnel and resources will be sent to Springfield to address the threats.

"The people who are doing this are doing this to sow discord in our community," director of the Ohio Department of Public Safety, Andy Wilson, said. "We just can't let them do that. We can't let them do that. We have to keep providing the services that the citizens of Springfield and Clark County expect."

This leaves one question: will Dana Bash apologize for blaming JD Vance and the Trump campaign for supposedly inciting these threats?

I won't be holding my breath.
