Republicans states are delivering victories for children all across the country.

Republican Gov. Kevin Stitt has signed a bill that stops doctors in Oklahoma from performing "gender-affirming care," a euphemism for bodily mutilation and sterilization of mentally ill kids.

If Billboard Chris was on board helping to craft the bill, you know the protections are strong.

The bill Stitt signed on Monday would make it illegal to provide gender-transition medical care for anyone under the age of 18. Such treatment can include surgery as well as hormones and drugs that suppress or delay normal puberty.

Surgeries that mutilate and sterilize kids, hormone treatments that permanently alter children, and puberty blockers which are used to stop kids from developing on a natural timetable are all banned under the new law.

Oklahoma joins 15 other states that have enacted similar bans to protect children in the last few years.
