If you saw the opening ceremony at the Olympics, this next story will not surprise you in the slightest. On Thursday, a man will face off against a woman in a women's Olympic boxing event.
SO INCLUSIVE!!
That's Imane Khelif of Algeria, and he's a dude.
You can tell he's a dude by watching this video of him beating up a woman in 2022.
Imane Khelif was disqualified from the Women's World Championship for failing the gender eligibility test, but the Olympics doesn't play by the rules of reality, so they're allowing men to participate in the women's category.
Here's the poor woman our guy Imane Khelif matched up against on Thursday:
(My sympathies, Angela.)
And look at this: Imane Khelif isn't the only guy boxing in the women's category in the 2024 Drag Olympics.
Taiwan's Lin Yu-ting will face either Marcelat Sakobi or Sitora Turdibekova on Friday. Again, my sympathies to the women.
You know, for entertainment purposes — and so I can meet you right back here with another article — wouldn't it be oh so special if Lin Yu-ting met Imane Khelif in the final match?
