Is there a place on track to be as grisly as Canada?
If so, it's probably Oregon.
The Oregon Senate is now tweaking its already dystopian "Death With Dignity" law — because doctors handing out state-approved suicide pills wasn't efficient enough.

A new bill would let nurses and PAs, not just MD's, distribute life-ending drugs. Why have only one professional rubber-stamping assisted death when you can have a whole team?
From Life News:
'Instead of providing more opportunities for providers to prescribe toxic cocktails of life-ending drugs making the dehumanizing practice more readily accessible, the Oregon legislature should focus on ensuring that all people facing end-of-life decisions have access to truly compassionate, high-quality palliative care,' [Oregon Right to Life executive director Lois' Anderson said.
In 2023, Oregon's communist overlord, Gov. Tina Kotek, scrapped residency requirements, turning the state into a euthanasia tourism hotspot. Shockingly, suicides skyrocketed.
Who could have seen that coming?

You'd think healthcare workers were supposed to prevent death, not fast-track it like an Amazon Prime order. But hey, in Oregon, "Do No Harm" has been rebranded to "Do Not Resuscitate … Ever."
The slippery slope has been getting steeper for quite some time. At every point, we are told that such programs won't expand, but then they inevitably do.
Oregon became the first state to legalize physician-assisted suicide - euphemistically called 'death with dignity' - in 1994. The measure took effect in 1997 after overcoming legal challenges. In 2023, Democratic Governor Tina Kotek signed a law stripping away the residency requirement for assisted suicide, allowing Oregon physicians to prescribe lethal drugs to people from other states. The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) had already stopped enforcing the residency requirement in 2022.
The rollback of the rule was followed by an immediate surge in overall prescriptions and deaths.
The Death Cult is winning in Oregon, ladies and gents.
Per the OHA report, a total of 4,274 people have been prescribed the lethal drugs since the passage of Oregon's Death with Dignity Act, leading to the deaths of at least 2,847 people.
Let's pray the people running this legalized execution racket eventually face real justice.
