Coffee lovers rejoice! Panera has finally found the cure for those of us that suffer from the madness of loving iced coffee all year round. Is iced coffee superior to hot coffee? Yes. Is iced coffee hard to hold when it's below 70 degrees outside? Yes. (Editor's note: In Florida, anything below 70 is considered freezing)
But there's good news! You can now enjoy your iced coffee, no matter the weather, with Panera's "Iced & Toasty Bread Bowl Hand Warmer." Seriously.
The hand warmer, which is basically just ridiculous looking mittens, keeps your hands warm and perfectly fits their iced coffee cups.
Unfortunately, the bread bowl hand warmer isn't edible, but it does look quite realistic. Panera's inspiration for this design came from a survey that found 78% of Americans still intend to drink iced coffee despite the temperature outside.
You can sign up at icedandtoasty.com to win one of the 450 Bread Bowl Hand Warmers available. Please note that, if you do win, it's required that you upload pics of your bread bowl hand warmer to NTB social right away.
As a fun little aside, I'd like to know what you all think of the iced coffee vs. hot coffee debate, so here's a nifty little poll...
