Peanut the Squirrel tests negative for rabies after New York authorities euthanized him to test him for rabies
· Nov 15, 2024 · NottheBee.com

It was all for nothing, you guys. They killed Peanut the squirrel for no reason.

This is why people hate the government. They killed Peanut and his buddy, Fred the raccoon, so they could test them for rabies after Peanut had bitten a Department of Environmental Conservation employee.

And once they tested them, they both turned up negative.

Never would've guessed the results would come back negative!

In New York State, it's illegal to take an animal in without a license; you also must have the animal registered as an educational animal. This is why when Mark Longo was ratted on by some online Karen, the authorities were able to show up to his door and take his animals. Unfortunately, they also killed the animals.

Peanut gained tens of thousands of followers on Instagram, TikTok and other platforms in the more than seven years since Longo took him in after seeing his mother get hit by a car in New York City. Longo has said he was in the process of filing paperwork to get Peanut certified as an educational animal when he was seized.

Longo on Tuesday said the negative test results were no surprise and criticized the government's actions.

‘It's no real big shocker to me, considering I lived with Peanut for seven-and-a-half years and Fred for five months. I'm not foaming at the mouth,' he said. ‘I knew the test results were going to be negative.'

Such a shame that they would do this to someone, let alone to kill the animals they were trying to help.

Peanut, you will forever be in our hearts, and we know, deep down, that it was you who helped Donald Trump make it too big to rig in 2024.

I'll leave you with some thoughts on this from the comments section:

Pour a little out for Peanut this weekend, folks.
