So Pennsylvania is now telling its residents that they, as free Americans, need to wear masks on their own property, inside their own homes.
"Masks are still required," stated the beneficent overlords. "Indoors: masks now required anytime you're with people outside of your household, even if you're socially distant. Applies to all indoor facilities + if you have people in your home not part of your household."
In addition to this mask mandate, Pennsylvania is also ordering anyone leaving or reentering their state to take a 'Rona test, making it apparently illegal to travel over their border otherwise. But I'm sure the Separated States of America will work just as well as the united version.
Sorry, Pennsylvanians. I know you live in a nation founded on liberty, with the expressed purpose that government exists ONLY to safeguard people from abuses against their God-given rights, defend them from foreign threats, and see that criminals are brought to justice. But now you "must follow" the rules according to your state's government. The government, after all, has your interests at heart.
Yes, I'm sure the fields of American blood that was spilled in the cause of liberty was worth restricted travel, shuttered businesses, empty churches, aching isolation, and destroyed relationships. Because when I see a government ordering sovereign and free individuals to cover their faces in their own homes, I know our society is on the right trajectory, and that those hallowed dead would be proud of what this nation has become.
