YIKES!
Last week, I wrote about this viral story involving reality TV contestants who look much older than they are ๐
Now there's a whole clinic full of women shouting proudly about their Botox injections and it has people talking about the same thing ๐
My intent here isn't to be mean to these women - I've just been seeing more and more of these videos with beauty treatments that actually make women seem older and less ... real.
The women had thoughts:
And so did the men:
Everyone seemed to agree that Jodie looked great though! ๐
I'm sure I'll get some hate from the Botox crowd, talking about how it's a godsend for headaches.
But all I'm asking is how useful beauty treatments are when they don't lead to, well, beauty.
Women get made fun of if they don't use beauty products, and made fun of when they use too many.
Maybe the best rule of thumb is everything in moderation and to just be yourself?
I'll just leave ya with this parting thought:
'Humans do not see what the Lord sees, for humans see what is visible, but the Lord sees the heart.' - 1 Samuel 16:7b
