You really don't hate the mainstream media enough.

With the Israel-Palestine conflict still in full swing, some people unearthed this insane WaPo opinion from 2021:

As we know, the Iron Dome is a purely defensive piece of technology that harmlessly shoots down Hamas rockets fired into Israeli civilian areas. It's a brilliant solution that has saved countless civilian lives.

Here's a quote from the piece:

"Iron Dome allows Israel to act with less concern for civilian casualties, and gives Israel less incentive to find a political solution to its conflict with Gaza."

In other words, if more Israeli civilians were dying, maybe it would force Israel's government to negotiate with Hamas more.

YIKES.

The Washington Post's readership has dropped 60% since 2020 and they've lost millions of dollars. We're sure articles like this have nothing to do with that, right?
