They might be onto something 🤔...
According to a new Hill-HarrisX poll, 71% percent of "all voters" strongly or somewhat agree "that cancel culture has gone too far."
Seventy-six percent of GOP voters strongly/somewhat agree, while 70% Democrat and 68% independent voters said they strongly/somewhat agree.
The poll used Merriam-Webster's definition for cancel culture (which may or may not change in the exact moment the definition becomes problematic). So, here's the definition, for now: "the practice or tendency of engaging in mass canceling as a way of expressing disapproval and exerting social pressure."
You know, I'm no expert data analyst or anything like that, but I think if 71% of all voters can agree that something has gone too far, then that probably means it has gone too far.
We have come so far in this cancel culture insanity, even in the past year alone.
For example, how'd we get to the point of conservatives nodding in agreement to clips of Bill Maher sledgehammering cancel culture? That's some "The Sky is Falling" type of stuff, man.
When will we wake up and turn ourselves around? I'd say this poll is a gift from God, providing us further evidence that we must repent and change course.
