Money is getting tighter, gas prices are continuing to skyrocket, and Americans are having to adjust their daily lifestyles just to have enough money to make it from paycheck to paycheck.
So it's no surprise that summer plans for American families are being canceled or put on hold.
A new poll from Echelon shows just how many Americans are having to rearrange their lives to accommodate the Biden economy.
From the Daily Wire:
Asked if their family has "changed or canceled plans for a family trip" because of inflation, 51% said yes. And 41% said they "changed or canceled activities for my children like camp or extracurricular activities."
Over half of families have changed their summer 2022 plans with their families due to economic belt-tightening.
That's 51% of families that are having to choose to take a shorter trip, closer trip, or no trip at all this summer because they can't afford it.
41% of families are canceling summer camps or trips for kids.
You only get about 10 childhood summers so of course any cancelation is going to be devastating.
And the numbers go beyond vacation and camp.
As for being able to spend time with their kids, 26% answered yes to the question, "I won't be able to stay home with my children because I need to work extra hours."
1/4 of parents are losing precious time with their youngsters because they are having to work extra hours to overcome the economic difficulties caused by the Biden Administration.
There's a real human impact to these terrible economic policies, and this poll highlights those.
