Pope Francis goes full climate cult, issues statement slamming fossil-fuel companies

Catholics! Come get your pope!

He's supposed to be the leader of the Roman Catholic Church and primarily focused on, you know, Christianity, the Bible, and truth. But instead, he'd rather be the leader of a completely different religion, the climate cult.

Pope Francis released a statement this week calling out the fossil fuel industry, I guess because he's not a huge fan of poor people (since they're the ones who pay the price if we ban fossil fuels).

In a new document titled "Laudate Deum," or "Praise God," the pope criticizes oil and gas companies for greenwashing new fossil fuel projects and calls for more ambitious efforts in the West to tackle the climate crisis. In the landmark apostolic exhortation, a form of papal writing, Francis says that "avoiding an increase of a tenth of a degree in the global temperature would already suffice to alleviate some suffering for many people."

I know Pope Francis is a big lib, there's no denying that, but the ignorance here and the straying out of his lane is truly incredible.

I mean, does the pope REALLY buy the mainstream media lie that people are suffering because of the weather? It's literally the opposite of the truth. What will make people suffer is taking energy away from them!

The pope is using his position of authority in the Catholic Church to push this fake news, anti-capitalist nonsense. He's writing documents titled "Praise God" as he spreads climate cultism.

It's actually pretty dang heretical!

This isn't the first time the pope has officially commented on climate change, issuing a similar statement in 2015 and then making similar anti-fossil fuel comments to climate activists in 2021.

This latest from the pope comes as a new global-warming conference is being hosted in the United Arab Emirates. The pope criticized the nation - no, not for being in opposition to Jesus Christ or His Church, and not for its human-rights violations or other abuses by wealthy emiratis, but because they are sucking dinosaur juice from the ground:

Francis' "Laudate Deum" similarly highlights the outsize influence of the fossil fuel industry in the UAE, writing that "gas and oil companies are planning new projects there, with the aim of further increasing their production."

And here's the game given away:

The pope says he hopes COP28 proceedings produce "binding forms of energy transition that meet three conditions: that they be efficient, obligatory and readily monitored."

Obligatory, meaning mandatory, and "readily monitored," meaning that the pope wants an international governing board to regulate how people use energy, which will inevitably cause the world's poorest to become even more destitute and civilization to crumble under the thumb of tyranny and decay.

That sounds kinda like the spirit of the antichrist but what do I know??
