Professor at distinguished Chinese university claims all of Western civilization, including the pyramids, were faked to "weaken the glory" of China

Professor Huang Heqing of Zhejiang University, one of the most eminent schools in China, is teaching his students that all of Western history is a hoax and that everything, from the pyramids to Shakespeare to the Mona Lisa, are modern fakes meant to belittle China.

If this sounds too crazy to be true, it's worth noting that China's "Middle Kingdom" philosophy, which is actively promoted by their government, asserts that the West's scientific and artistic dominance over the last few centuries is merely a fluke, and that Han Chinese civilization is superior in every way as the supreme race and culture of the human race.

The totally-sane Huang argued in a livestream recently that in the 1800s and 1900s, there was a massive undertaking by the West to fake every single piece of historical accomplishment.

For example, he believes the pyramids and Sphinx in Egypt were made of concrete:

"A well-known French chemist and material scientist conducted physical and chemical analysis on the Khufu pyramid in the 1980s, and confirmed that other than a small amount of natural stone, it mostly consisted of concrete," Huang said. "Another materials scientist from the United States came to a similar conclusion. In addition, the stones at the bottom of the Pyramid of Khufu have a 'lip shape,' which is obviously a sign they were cast. The ancient Egypt we know today is actually a fairy tale fabricated by the Western orthodox historians since the 19th century."

(Pretty sure I saw this episode of Stargate.)

Does Egypt even count as "the West" anyway? I guess it doesn't really matter, because though this insane dude has a Ph.D. from the University of Paris, he has a beef with ALL non-Chinese civilizations. He claims the entire world has conspired against China to "weaken the glory of Chinese civilization," which is "more ancient" and superior in every way.

"Whether it is the pyramids and the Sphinx in Egypt, or the Parthenon Temple in Athens, they are all actually modern forgeries by Western countries, with the purpose of depreciating Chinese culture," said Huang. "This is a historical conspiracy, so I have to make a stand for rectification for Chinese culture. The West is always making up history and falsifying ancient relics. The main purpose is to belittle Chinese civilization. I want justice for Chinese civilization!"

It's easy to laugh at one insane guy, but this isn't just limited to Huang.

As the Taiwan English News notes:

"Unfortunately, Huang is only one member of a school of thought developing in China which aims to re-write the history of the world to put China at the center."

Author Dong Binsheng, for example, published a book about how ancient Greece wasn't really a thing, and how European advances after the Middle Ages came exclusively from encounters with China.

Another author, Du Gangjian, argued that humanity dawned in southwest China and then spread out, creating Greek and Roman civilization.

If you're still laughing at this as a fringe movement, consider the existence of the New York Times' "1619 Project," a nationwide movement in our country designed to rewrite American history in our own schools.

I'm sure Nikole Hannah-Jones is looking forward to unveiling the "2500 B.C.E. Project" next year, where they will explore how toxic Western civilization strayed from the glorious roots of Han China!

Remember, Oceania has always been at war with Eastasia.
