Libs of TikTok may be suspended, but that does not mean that there aren't still libs on TikTok saying absolutely insane things.
This story is from Anderson University, a college in Indiana affiliated with the Church of God.
The Daily Mail reported on English Professor Liz Boltz Ranfeld โ who describes herself as an intersectional feminist โ explaining why racial segregation is totally okay!
English professor Elizabeth Boltz Ranfield took to TikTok to explain that opposition to dividing the races is hypocritical: White people create their own default 'white spaces' but then become upset when black, indigenous and people of color have their own groups.
The school's [Anderson University] Racial Equity Taskforce, which was set up 'to explore ways for [the school] to apply our values to areas of identity, race, and social inclusion,' recently decided to hold racially divided 'listening groups' to increase candor in talks about race and equality.
The sessions, scheduled for today and April 19, are separated into 'White Students' and 'Students of Color.'
So this supposedly "Christian" university created specifically racially segregated groups and people were upset by this.
From the school's website under their "vision and mission" page:
...This university is committed to being a teaching-learning community of the highest order, engaged in the pursuit of truth from a Christian faith perspective.
And so we challenge ourselves to consider three big questions: "Who is God?", "Who am I?", and "How do we live?"
I have a strong suspicion Anderson's students are learning the exact opposite of what the Bible teaches on these questions. God is just the big enforcer of diversity, equity, and inclusion, you are just the color of your skin, and you can live however in the heck you want as long as it's exactly in step with Wokeism.
Here's the video from Professor Ranfield. Watch and then we'll analyze this mess:
It begins like this:
White people do this thing...
Let me stop you there. When you generalize and stereotype an entire group of people by saying "white people do this thing" or "black people do this thing" what you are about to say is almost certainly going to be racist.
I'm sorry, I had to get that in there. I'll start over.
White people do this thing where we create spaces and are part of spaces that are white only, not by statute but by default. So circumstances allow a space to continue to be white only. Even though there's no rule that says "white only."
Okay, so this is the systemic racism we've heard about for years. It's not actually in the law, but it's mysteriously still actually there.
I cannot think of a single space in normal American life where people of all races wouldn't be welcomed with open arms, but sure, go ahead with this point.
What you'll hear as a red flag to recognize these spaces is language like "we are open to everyone" "we just live in a very white area" or "we just haven't had any black applicants" or "no students of color have applied to this program".
Black and indeginous people are just supposed to accept that these places exist and it's not intentional that these are racist or whites only.
Alright, this argument is hilarious.
Because white people are openly and outwardly looking for racial minorities to be part of their group this is evidence that they really DON'T want black people in their circles.
That's the logic that we are going with.
White people are racist when they open groups to everyone.
Groups explicitly open to EVERYONE are racist if there are white people in the group.
So what's the solution? How about groups that are LITERALLY and OPENLY racially segregated.
That's the ticket!
Then if people of color begin to organize and intentionally create spaces that are for them, white people get all, "well, isn't that segregation? Are you trying to divide us? Why aren't I allowed to go there?"
So then you end up with these protests over "segregation" that are really just about white people's feelings of getting, 1, excluded from a space and 2, worrying that people are going to say mean things about them in that space and that they're not going to be able to defend themselves.
And that's the reason why we shouldn't be in some of those spaces in the first place, because we turn it into our feelings of defensiveness.
According to this professor at a CHRISTIAN school, it's okay for there to be real and explicit segregation AGAINST whites because it will allow people of color to be racist against whites without white people interfering.
But imagined and unprovable discrimination by whites is pure evil.
Just like Jesus taught!
I guess that she's taking Ibram Kendi's "the only remedy to racist discrimination is anti-racist discrimination" proclamation pretty seriously.
They're bringing back segregation, but it's cool now because the anti-racist "progressives" that are the ones doing it.
You might want to make sure the "Christian" school you're sending your kids to isn't just molding them into a nicer kind of pagan!
