The "lab-leak theory" of COVID-19 has come and gone. At the start of the pandemic it was completely impermissible to speculate whether or not the virus emerged from a Chinese bio-lab; then, after Joe Biden won the election, it became acceptable to wonder about it; then after that it once again became disallowed for whatever reason.
