Fewer than two weeks out from the 2022 midterms, and how do things stand? Who will be in control of the legislative branches in January? Will Joe Biden see his legislative ambitions affirmed or thwarted in the second half of his term?

Let's take a look. Here's 538's projection for the U.S. House as of Oct. 28:

Nice. Not only are Republicans poised to handily take the House, their outlook has only gotten better for the past two weeks.

What about the Senate? Did Fetterman's crackerjack performance against Oz give Democrats an advantage? Is Raphael Warnock fending off attacks from Herschel Walker? Let's peruse:
