MYTH BUSTED: Research shows men who own guns are more satisfied with their ... endowment
· Jun 14, 2024 · NottheBee.com

You ever heard liberals try to argue that men who own guns own them because they are compensating for their small you-know-whats?

Our friends over at Huffington Post (yes, they still exist) quote Freud in this juvenile argument against gun owners.

[T]o Freud, the compulsion to own firearms stems from an unconscious need to compensate for a deep-seated psychological sense of insecurity and inadequacy in terms of power: in males, specifically for having a small or smaller-than-desired penis, and in females, in an attempt to symbolically grow a large penis.

Riveting stuff, HuffPo.

Turns out that's all hogwash!

The University of Texas San Antonio recently produced a study trying to see if men who own guns are compensating in this way, but what they found was the exact opposite.

Yes, owning guns, guns, and more guns is for guys who are packing. Not owning guns is for guys who are not.

Their study, not mine!

Yes, in their words:

We find that men who are more dissatisfied with the size of their penises are less likely to personally own guns across outcomes, including any gun ownership, military-style rifle ownership, and total number of guns owned.

Look at these graphs!

The inverse association between penis size dissatisfaction and gun ownership is linear.

DAVID HOGG HARDEST HIT!

Now we can all trust the science when we say there is yet another major difference between liberal and conservative men!
