Hooooo boy! This is quite the revelation.

Dave Rubin just interviewed Rose McGowan and in this interview, the actress dropped a HUGE bombshell about the Harvey Weinstein story that involves embattled governor up for recall, Gavin Newsom.

The entire Harvey Weinstein saga is a complicated one, and it involves lots of different parties, but Rose McGowan was one of the first women to come forward with allegations against Weinstein in 2017. This was the beginning of the popularization of the #MeToo movement.

But, according to this interview with McGowan, the whole story would have stayed under wraps if the wife of a certain governor had had her way.

Soooooo, while the story was still in the works, and McGowan began to become more vocal about her story involving Weinstein, the lawyers were hard at work trying to find a way to shut her up.

McGowan claims that Gavin Newsom's wife, Jennifer, called her out of the blue on behalf of David Boies who was part of the law firm representing Weinstein, as well as other high-profile clients such as Bill and Hilary Clinton.

"David Boies wants to know what it would take to make you happy."

These are the words allegedly spoken by the wife of California Governor Gavin Newsom. A brazen attempt to buy off the actress and keep her quiet about Weinstein's sexual improprieties.

Politics is a nasty world and it's easy to get involved with less than savory characters. But the wife of a governor allegedly being involved with the coverup of a string of sexual assault cases is still, in 2021, shocking to see.

With the recall election just a few days away, this type of news could further cripple the attempt to stave off recall efforts that would remove Emperor Newsom from office.
