As just more evidence that Bud Light has royally screwed up with the whole Dylan Mulvaney saga and the deserved boycott, the latest industry numbers are showing that not only is Bud dropping, their chief competitors are rising.
Miller Lite and Coors Light are both hitting higher numbers now since Bud Light committed business hari-kari by promoting the woman-face drag agenda.
According to David Williams of Bump Williams Consulting, Miller and Coors have been seeing a noticeable uptick in the market since the Mulvaney disaster.
Coors Light increased dollar sales (+10.7%), volume (+5.5%) and dollar share (+1.5%), while Miller Lite increased dollar sales (+16.9%), volume (+11.7%) and dollar share (+2.3%) for the week ending April 8.
Coors light volume trends flipped to positive during the week, as the brand's volume had been in the red -4.3% year-to-date, Williams added.
Now, I know, I know.
Coors is woke too. They've put rainbows on their cans. And so is Miller Lite, I'm sure.
We can't successfully boycott them all at once. But what we can do is take one of them out behind the shed and let everyone know we mean business.
