This Ukrainian ad about a cashless society run by algorithms is as scary and dystopian as it gets

A cashless society where A.I. has replaced human bureaucrats (including the courts!!), where powerful companies run R&D projects while kids are required to remotely log in for electronic brainwashing.

And yes, the man who posted this is the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine.

Look, I'm no fan of Putin, but I'll take Godfather-style former KGB agents who like to ride horseback shirtless over an automated tech dystopia where a few powerful autocrats use artificial intelligence to become our new feudal lords.

Seriously, who decided to take the plot to Person of Interest, where A.I.'s wage war over the fate of humanity, and decided to make it the future?

Or maybe they were watching Black Mirror, where your ability to buy things. get jobs, and go places is determined by your crowdsourced Google rating.

Or maybe they binge-watched Family Guy creator Seth McFarlane's Orville series, where one episode shows what total democracy (mob rule) looks like by rating people based on upvotes and downvotes.

I don't know... I can't keep all the sci-fi coming true straight in my head.

If you're still wondering why I'm invoking all this dystopian fiction, let smart man James Lindsay be your guide.

As an academic, Lindsay is focused on cultural Marxism and how it has infected our institutions. When he sees an official government ad like this, he doesn't see a more convenient digital world. He sees a world where your life is controlled by an algorithm beholden to a few anonymous kings that have complete and total power.

The war in Ukraine can be two things. One one hand, it can be a power play by a dictator who wants access to vast natural resources. On the other, it can be a fight to protect the globalist money laundering and governance scheme that's been in development by rich elites since the 1990s.

If we don't start questioning why all the rich western leaders are so invested in Ukraine, perhaps we deserve what the rich dumb dumbs have in store for us!

Maybe we could start with why our president is so invested in sending billions of dollars to a country where he pressured the government to stop investigating his crackhead son who was serving on the board of a corrupt energy megafirm. Just a thought!
