I regret to inform you that the very smart people at London's "Science Museum" discovered another incredibly hateful and bigoted toy: LEGOs.
Yes, according to a tour at this "Science Museum" called "Seeing Things Queerly," LEGOs are anti-LGBTQ!
Yeah, uhh, LEGO bricks are transphobic because they have male and female sides that fit together ... and this is anti-gay because it implies parts that naturally fit together ... naturally fit together.
This is not satire 👇
The tour, devised by a Gender and Sexuality Network at the museum, also claims in the 'Seeing Things Queerly' guide that Lego can add credence to the view that there are only two genders.
This is because people supposedly describe Lego bricks as having male or female parts that are made to 'mate' with each other.
Oh no! LEGOs support heteronormativity by demonstrating that male and female parts have to go together in order to build them!
Welp, ball's in your court, LEGOs.
It's time to include gender fluid, gender questioning, and the myriad of other genders in your building blocks!
