Wild scene here out of Fairfax County, Virginia.
A black 16-year-old boy lured in police officers by calling in a murder and then proceeded to attack the officers and stab them when they arrived on scene.
Here's the bodycam footage:
Police say the teen was the one who called 911, saying that he had killed two people, which was determined to be false.
When officers arrived, they exited their police cruiser and began talking while outside the car. That's when the suspect came charging at them, seemingly unprovoked, while wildly brandishing the knife.
The teen reportedly stabbed the officer once on the left side of the torso above the rib cage with a knife before being taken into custody.

[Police Chief Kevin] Davis said the officer didn't initially realize that he had been stabbed until after the suspect was detained. He was later taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to be ok.
The officer's identity is being withheld, and so is the young man's.
(I wonder why.)
The 16-year-old is being charged with felony malicious wounding, but will not be tried as an adult.
Fairfax County Police say they've had similar encounters with the teen in the past, and they all agree that "Something has gone wrong in that young man's life."
Many such cases.
