Remember Gustavo Petro?
He's the Colombian President Trump recently turned into an international laughing stock by using tariffs to force him to back down and accept flights of returning illegal immigrants into his country.
He was also the guy allegedly caught having an affair with a dude dressed as a woman:
And now he's claiming that cocaine has been unfairly stigmatized.
Why? Because it's made in Latin America.
Not joking.
According to a CBS report, Petro said the following:
Scientists have analyzed this. Cocaine is no worse than whiskey ... [Drug trafficking] could easily be dismantled if they legalize cocaine in the world. It would be sold like wine.
Petro for some reason kept talking (possibly he was coked out at the time):
Cocaine is illegal because it is made in Latin America, not because it is worse than whiskey.
Petro goes on to bash "North American multinationals" for creating fentanyl.
Though reality disputes this claim.
Seriously, how did this clown get elected?
Somebody tell Elon to check the USAID files for this bozo's name.
