Remember this esteemed scholar at Scientific American who let her true feelings about half of the electorate be known after Donald Trump's victory?
According to the editor-in-chief of Scientific American, Trump voters are the 'meanest, dumbest, most bigoted' group of people. Oh, and we're 'f***ing fascists,' too.
She quickly issued a simpering apology that was quite unconvincing.
Well, it looks like some people at the magazine were not thrilled with her deranged, profane tirade, cuz she just resigned:
I've decided to leave Scientific American after an exciting 4.5 years as editor in chief. I'm going to take some time to think about what comes next (and go birdwatching)...

And it looks like she doesn't want to make this mistake again:

Anyway it's a good sign that even the far-left periodicals are starting to police their own.
