Top scientist on why it took a year to investigate the Wuhan lab: "At the time, it was scarier to be associated with Trump and to become a tool for racists" 🤦‍♂️

The woke have obliterated our nation's ability to critically think and respond to crises:

Yep, that's the excuse of Alina Chan – a postdoctoral associate at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard University who focuses on genetic engineering – for why scientists didn't investigate the possibility of a lab leak and coverup by the brutal Chinese communist regime.

"At the time, it was scarier to be associated with Trump and to become a tool for racists, so people didn't want to publicly call for an investigation into lab origins."

Think about that.

This woman, one of 18 who signed an open letter in the journal Science that now calls for an investigation of the Wuhan lab, is lumping Trump and racist together, as well as the premise that calling it the "China virus" was racist.

NOT BEING ASSOCIATED WITH TRUMP WAS MORE IMPORTANT THAN UNCOVERING THE TRUTH OF A VIRUS THAT'S KILLED MILLIONS WORLDWIDE AND THE MACHINATIONS OF AN ORWELLIAN REGIME THAT ENSLAVES A BILLION PEOPLE.

The letter Chan signed notes that no drastically new evidence has emerged in the last year, simply that things are different now because Trump is not in office.

Chan said there had been trepidation among some scientists about publicly discussing the lab leak hypothesis for fear that their words could be misconstrued or used to support racist rhetoric about how the coronavirus emerged. Trump fueled accusations that the Wuhan Institute of Virology, a research lab in the city where the first Covid-19 cases were reported, was connected to the outbreak...

Where do you think she got that idea that everything Trump says is racist? Maybe... things like THIS?

Lest we forget, until Trump used the term, the media was using it freely:

Trump said the media has become the enemy of the people. This might be the largest example proving that (sadly) to be true.
