Yes, Senator Joni Ernst was hosting a luncheon on Thursday along with fellow Iowa Republican Chuck Grassley.
Pork chops, cream corn, and what looks to be coleslaw were on the menu, and when Ernst tried to swallow that slightly overcooked pork, well, she failed. And that's when Senator Rand Paul, MD, stepped into action and saved her.
Nice work, Dr. Paul. You saved a Republican senator's life and now the libs have yet another reason to hate you.
