Shockingly awful viral video shows Afghan man's body dangling from the landing gear of the C-17 that was swarmed by people at Kabul airport

On Monday, a crowd of men tried to cling to a U.S. Air Force C-17 transport plane as it left Kabul airport.

The few who managed to hold onto the fuselage were seen a few moments later as their bodies fell out of the sky in a horrific video that quickly went viral.

Another related video began going viral on Tuesday, this time from one of the crew members of the C-17. The plane's landing gear reportedly malfunctioned, and when the crew looked outside, they saw the lower half of an Afghan man's body crushed in it.

We will not be showing the video here. It's out there, but it's awful [read: disturbing beyond belief] and so we're not showing it.

We will show, however, one of the stills of the video that was reportedly sent to U.S. Senate candidate Eli Bremer by an Air Force pilot.

It is, as stated above, graphic:

According to the NY Post:

Human remains were found inside the C-17 transport plane's wheel well after pilots were forced to make an emergency landing in a nearby country because they were unable to retract the landing gear, sources told the Washington Post.

The person is believed to have climbed onto the landing gear and tried to stow away before the plane departed in the frantic attempt to flee the country after the Taliban takeover.

There's nothing else to say. Per Eli Bremer, "This is what failed foreign policy looks like" sums it up entirely.
