Shohei Ohtani is an absolute beast of a ballplayer.

Dude pitches with the best of 'em and he's got a bat like a rocket. He's such a premiere athlete, they even made a rule for him back in 2022, commonly known as the "Ohtani rule," which allows pitchers to remain in the batting order as a DH after being excused from the mound. He currently leads the league in home runs, he was AL MVP in 2021, the World Baseball Classic MVP this past spring, and he's played in three All-Star Games.

On Thursday, Ohtani achieved something never before seen in baseball: He pitched an entire game in the first game of a doubleheader, shutting out the Tigers and only allowing a single hit, and then in the second game he hit not one, but two home runs.
