So inspiring: These brave men are rushing to make themselves infertile after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade

It is so encouraging to see that those good old American community values of masculinity, forbearance and level-headedness are all still enduring, even to this day:

Younger men in the Big Apple —- and across the country — are scrambling to book appointments to get vasectomies in the wake of last week's Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, urologists and prospective patients told The Post.

Dr. Alex Shteynshlyuger, director of urology at New York Urology Specialists in Midtown Manhattan, estimated that calls about vasectomy procedures to his office have soared by more than 500 percent this week, with many consultations booked for July and younger men jumping on the bandwagon.

"If they're at a point where they don't plan on having children and have been relying on other methods of contraception, that can certainly drive them toward vasectomy," Shteynshlyuger said.

I mean, hey, it's not like we're already in a demographic death spiral and that this reckless move will decimate our population even further and lead to the hollowing out of our future prosperity, national security and happiness.

And man, can you imagine suggesting that these men should just up and marry the women they're having sex with, committing to matrimony for the rest of their lives and starting families like normal people? Perish the thought!

In states that are now considering abortion bans, the SCOTUS decision has prompted men who may have once considered the procedure to now go under the knife.

"The possibility that it could become banned here — I think that possibility for my partner and everything has been pushing me for it," said CJ Hall, 28, an associate manager for a cell phone company in Lawrence, KS.

I mean, yes, sure, this guy is young and is already in a managerial position at what's probably a pretty stable company, and he could easily just do the gentlemanly thing and propose to his "partner" and look toward becoming a father.

But where's the sense in that?? Better to just...

God be with us all in this brave new world.
