A bunch of people were ABSOLUTELY APPALLED that Christians believe Christ is King and would annoy them by reminding them of that in public places:

No one has any clue about the details of this flight, where it was headed, what airline it was on, or how many of the passengers were with the group singing. TMZ reported on the story because they love a good chance to bash some Christians for believing in hope, mercy, love, and eternity, but even they couldn't corroborate the details.

And for some reason, some people thought it was very, very important to compare this to Islam.

Gee whiz, it sure is frightening when Christians sing "God is Great" with smiles and a guitar instead of screaming "God is Great" before pulling the det cord. This hijacking of everyone's ears with melody was basically another 9/11!!

Not really, TMZ actually said that:

There might be some missing context here to fully explain this ... namely, whether this was a plane full of folks from the same church/denomination, or whether these Christ-followers hijacked things and projected their faith onto everyone else without asking.

To the TMZ bros, Christianity is literally about projecting your faith onto everyone. Jesus literally commanded it.

But maybe you can't blame them. After all, look at how much of an extremist the man who posted the video is.

He wants a godly wife and is willing to kneel in worship before the King of Kings and Lord of Lords???

GASP!!!

Anyway, America's favorite anti-American representative, Ilhan Omar, felt the pressing need to weigh in on the matter:

Answer: Nothing would happen.

It does show the congresswoman's priorities though...

Besides the fact that this type of worship is heretical in Islam (and music itself, unless it adheres strictly to the doctrine of "Tahwid," or "Oneness"), there are plenty of Muslim airlines out there that DO promote Islamic prayer and faith.

But by golly, can you imagine a world with a Christian airline where passengers are reminded that they are made in the image of God and that He loves us??

Christian worship about love and grace...
