Congresswoman and Squad member Rashida Tlaib was caught on camera letting the mask slip, both figuratively and literally, when she admitted the only reason she wears a mask is that Republicans might be watching.

Yeah, so, it looks like Tlaib doesn't actually at all believe the mask is effective. She's just using it as a political signal. As we all know is the case.

In the video, Tlaib is meeting outside with a man who doesn't have a mask on. You know, because they're outside and everyone there is most likely vaccinated. Acting like a normal person. And because we live in crazy world, Tlaib mentions something about masks and the man apologizes for his reasonable behavior and reaches for a mask.

That's when Tlaib lets us know how much faith she has in "The Science".

She explains that she doesn't at all care if the man has a mask on. She's just doing it for politics.

"I'm just wearing it because I've got a Republican tracker here."

Tlaib gestures at the camera and makes sure her guest knows she isn't upset with him about the mask. She just has to say something because there may be Republicans watching.

Republicans are always looking to pounce.

This is nakedly political and highly hypocritical.

Otherwise known as a normal day for the Squad.
