DK Metcalf was having a pretty decent first year in Pittsburgh. That is, until this happened on Sunday in Detroit.

Surprisingly, Metcalf was allowed to play the remainder of the game, as none of the referees witnessed this interaction.
It's not clear how it began, though the fan says he called DK by his full name, DeKaylin Zecharius Metcalf, and that's what got him going.
As you can see, the fan was pretty excited after the punch.
Personally, I'd have gone a different route.
NFL talking heads are saying Metcalf could be suspended for next week's game against the Browns, but don't be surprised if he misses the Steelers' final game against Baltimore as well. Both scenarios would see DK back for the playoffs, which Pittsburgh will likely qualify for.
