Steve Martin turned down playing Tim Walz on SNL, so NPR put together a list of candidates ... is this what your tax dollars pay for?

I can't believe my US tax dollars have anything to do with this actual crap ๐Ÿ˜‚

From NPR:

Okay, so this author wants Jon Hamm to play JD Vance, not Tim Walz. So, that's a little more sane.

But why is NPR paying someone to act as a scouting agent for SNL? Why are we paying to support a "news" organization that does nothing but take pot shots at the Republican candidates?

And, to be clear, that's what this story is. It's, "How do we make Walz likable and Vance hatable?"

So here's my short list of the folks left who Michaels should consider casting as Walz โ€” along with a couple recommendations for Vance. Because teaching us how to laugh at these people just might help us understand them - or at least learn to tolerate them ...

Here's what the author says is the "con" to having comedian Zach Galifinakis play JD Vance:

CONS: He'll be so good we may forget how odd Vance is in real life.

Yeah, it sure would be awful for SNL to accidentally humanize the man the press is trying to paint as the scum of the earth.

NPR is much more of a joke than even SNL could write.
