As a socialist radical once said, "The issue is never the issue. The issue is always the revolution."

Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) is a campus group that receives funding from several Hamas-linked organizations and works to advance pro-Palestine and anti-capitalist causes on campus.

In Philadelphia, the Temple University chapter of the organization held this Zoom call to discuss their ideology.

Our boy Mohammed Khatib, a European coordinator of the U.S.-designated terrorist group Samidoun kicked things off with this gem:

If Palestine is liberated, this is a nail to dismantle the United States of America.

Not to be outdone, Bina, a they/them student activist, said this:

We know it's a victory when a red triangle goes above an Israeli soldier's head, and a pig gets iced. Like, we know that's a victory. We know it's a victory when prisoners break out... but a lot of people don't necessarily know that... and that's our fault.

Then Rishi Arun added his contribution:

It's our job to destroy imperialism, destroy the United States, and to destroy capitalism, and the system of extraction it relies on to perpetuate itself. And we will do it by organizing in a manner that actively undermines and destabilizes the legitimacy and power of the state, and the power and legitimacy of capitalism.

Brilliant stuff here, guys.

Commenters on the internet responded, many of them wondering how on earth these people haven't been deported yet:

What do you think? Why do communists see "liberating Palestine" as key to their revolution?
