Here's a newsflash for you; men don't like going to the doctor.

I know that‘s not a huge surprise, but now we have a survey report over at Zocdoc to let us know what torture men would choose over seeing a doctor.

Here are the top choices:

• Clean the entire house: 35.09%
• Change a flat tire: 24.83%
• File my taxes: 21.04%
• Get pulled over by a cop: 11.86%

While I'm not surprised men would pick just about anything else besides visiting the doctor, I am surprised that "clean the entire house" was the most picked option.

C'mon fellas. Cleanliness is next to godliness, you know.

And ladies before you decide that threatening your man with a doctor's appointment might get him to clean up after himself, consider the top reasons men gave for not wanting to see the doctor:

• Feel anxious or nervous when I visit the doctor: 25.52%
• Don't want to pay the costs associated with seeing the doctor: 23.13%
• Unable to get into the doctor I want quickly: 22.93%
• Takes too much time out of my busy schedule: 21.64%
• Hate doing the paperwork that comes with every appointment: 21.34%

See, you‘d just make your poor fella anxious, and he'd have less time and money to spend with you.

But if he really needs a doctor's appointment, don't feel bad about going ahead and scheduling him for one.

The study also shows that men were more likely than women to have their appointments scheduled by someone else, and 81% of the time, that someone else was a woman.

And doctors, just remember if a man makes his own appointment, you know it's serious.
