A new survey from the Skeptic Research Center:

Liberals lead the way in the support for political violence, but not by much. When a uniparty exists, it's only a matter of time before both sides of the political spectrum become dissatisfied.

Here's more on the survey:

The most educated are the most likely to believe violence is necessary for social change.

The authors do cite a previous and more-or-less non-related survey taken during Biden's term, which showed Republicans support for political violence at 38% and Democrats at 36%. This could mean that whichever party is out of power is more likely to resort to political violence during its time in the minority.

It's still alarming that almost half of adult Gen Z and Millennial liberals believe violence to be necessary to create social change, and 40% of conservatives in this age range agree.
