This is wonderful news.

Sweden's women's national soccer team annihilated the unbearably woke U.S. Women's National Team (USWNT) at the Olympics, 3-0!

FYI: Losing 3-0 in soccer is like losing an American football game by three touchdowns. 3-0 in soccer is an absolute BLOWOUT.

The only bad news is that the USWNT is not yet eliminated from the tournament.

This is the same USWNT that has lobbied for equal pay with the men's national team, but can't even beat a team of 15-year-old boys, thus, proving their inability to acknowledge and appreciate the difference in quality between men and women's soccer.

If they think they deserve to be paid the same amount as the men, why don't they play against the men's national team to prove it? Or maybe they should start with the Under-15 Youth National Team and work from there.

Now, listen... I am a massive soccer fan. Moreover, I am a massive AMERICAN soccer fan, both at the club level (Sporting KC and Inter Miami, if you'd like to know) and the U.S. men's national team.

I have cried tears of joy for American soccer (e.g., Landon Donovan's stoppage-time goal against Algeria at the 2010 World Cup) and tears of sadness when the U.S. was eliminated from the 2006 World Cup (I was in middle school; give me a break).

I say this to demonstrate that my dislike of this American soccer team (USWNT) is not coming from a dislike for soccer. Nor is it that I don't want the U.S. to achieve international success in soccer.

It's because of how much of a disgrace this team is to the country and to American soccer. That's why many Americans are happy to see this American soccer team fail.
