I hope everyone is brushing up on their Mandarin and practicing to be good little comrades!
This chart from The Economist is pretty dang grim, although some people have pointed out it ignores the EU as a significant trade bloc and the primary trade partner of many countries over the U.S. or communist China.
It still underlines a sobering truth, however: While the U.S. has been passing out tolerance trophies and figuring out how to rebrand racism and censorship, China has been at work literally colonizing the globe with trade dominance.
