The Taliban unveiled their new government and their Interior Minister is a terrorist on the FBI's most-wanted list

I mean, what else did you expect from the Taliban?

The terror group now running Afghanistan announced its new government on Tuesday for delegates from China, Iran, Pakistan, Qatar, Russia, and Turkey.

The announcement included the appointment of Sirajuddin Haqqani as "interior minister." He is, as it happens, a very bad person.

Haqqani is a "specially designated global terrorist" by the FBI with a "$5 million reward for information leading directly to [his] arrest."

"Haqqani is wanted for questioning in connection with the January 2008 attack on a hotel in Kabul, Afghanistan, that killed six people, including an American citizen," reads a notice from the FBI.

"He is believed to have coordinated and participated in cross-border attacks against United States and coalition forces in Afghanistan. Haqqani also allegedly was involved in the planning of the assassination attempt on Afghan President Hamid Karzai in 2008."

He also may presently be holding at least one American hostage! What a slap in the face to the U.S.!

As the new sheriffs in town, the Taliban promised an "inclusive, Islamic government."

Nothing says "inclusive, Islamic government" quite like appointing most wanted terrorists to high-ranking positions of authority!

Adding insult to injury, four of the five Taliban members previously exchanged for U.S. Army deserter Bowe Bergdahl by the Obama administration in 2014 have also been named to the Taliban's new government in Afghanistan.
