Looks like Justin Trudeau's whining didn't change Trump's mind.
Rumor had it that the White House was postponing plans for the tariffs to be pushed back until March, so Trump decided to prove the haters wrong and jump in with both feet.
If you're wondering why said rumors started, look no further than this dip in the stock market.
Trump said the tariffs are being imposed on Canada and Mexico because they have facilitated illegal migration and receive subsidies from the U.S. that are unfair to American businesses.
As for the nations that don't like the tariffs - be careful, or Trump will make it 100%!
