I hope you slept well last night, and had nice dreams, because I'm about to hit you with some grade-A nightmare fuel.
It's no secret among those who follow politics closely that Michelle Obama has been considered something of a Trump card (best pun you'll see today) for the Democrats. She appears to be highly liked among a significant portion of the U.S. electorate. She checks the intersectionality boxes. The media fawns over her. She would raise a zillion dollars. She would probably win. And her husband could continue to run the country.
This has led some to believe that the Dems may, well, as Ted Cruz put it, "jettison Joe Biden and parachute in Michelle Obama" for 2024.
Cruz made the prediction on his "Verdict" podcast this week, even going so far as to predict that the Dems will do it right before the election.
"Here's the scenario that I think is perhaps most likely and most dangerous. In August of 2024 [at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago], the Democrat kingmakers jettison Joe Biden and parachute in Michelle Obama."
Cruz is taking signs from the legacy media, who have seemed to turn on Biden, VERY uncharacteristically, in recent months.
"The role of the media — sadly, they are no longer journalists, they no longer report on the news, they are the left wing of the Democrat Party. And when the media turns on the presumed Democrat nominee, I think that is the cutting edge of the Democrat intelligentsia saying we may have to cut bait and find someone new."
Cruz suggests that the media and the Left (I repeat myself) will create a story that hero Biden must step aside for health reasons, and will drop Michelle out of the clouds right before the election to be welcomed as the Second Coming of Barack Hussein Obama, Lord and Savior of the Democrat Party.
"I don't know if she would do it, but I do think Barack Obama is already running the Biden administration. I think he is already the puppet master behind this Biden White House. I don't think Joe Biden is the decision-maker.
"So, when I see the media turning on Joe Biden right now, I think the odds of Michelle Obama parachuting in in August of 2024 have risen dramatically, and that ought to scare the hell out of anyone who is unhappy in the direction this country is going and doesn't want us to go even crazier in an even worse direction."
Listen. I know people joke that America started falling apart at the seams after Harambe was killed. But the actual truth of the matter is that America started falling apart at the seams once Barack Obama was handed the reigns of power.
I could write an entire book, let alone an article, about how Barack Obama was the most destructive president of our lifetime. But since this article is already long and you have a short attention span, I'll just give you a couple stats from Gallup.
Did you know that in 2008, the year Barack Obama was elected, only 7% of all Americans described relations between white and black people as "very bad"?
- By the time Barack left office, he had doubled that number to 14%.
- In 2021, the last time that number was collected, it sat at 23%.
Did you know that in 2008, the year Barack Obama was elected, just 18% of all Americans were concerned "a great deal" about the state of race relations in America?
- By the time Barack left office, he had doubled that number to 35%.
Obama fomented racial division in America on purpose. He sold the lie that America is evil to its core, and everyone who is not a white male is oppressed. Obama birthed today's entitled, Marxist, woke movement that is tearing the country apart. It wasn't always like this.
Now that their crazy train has come this far, imagine how much further Michelle could drive it!
