I'm starting to think Greg Abbott is serious about keeping illegal immigrants out of Texas.

Abbott announced that Texas is building another border wall, not between Texas and Mexico, but between Texas and New Mexico: the U.S. state.

Illegal immigrants are skirting the El Paso border wall into New Mexico and then coming into El Paso anyway.

So, Abbott is cordoning off New Mexico too.

Ever since Biden opened the U.S. border, Texas has been conducting Operation Lonestar and building its own border wall, putting up razor wire, arresting illegal immigrants, and busing those illegal immigrants to sanctuary cities.

Here are some recent updates on that operation:

Securing our borders against a foreign nation seems prudent, but building a wall between one U.S. state and another state?
